I am reminded of the early Church on the Day of Pentecost when the crowds were amazed when they hear the Disciples speaking after they were filled with the Holy Spirit:

Acts 2: 11b,12. (The Message):

"They're speaking our languages, describing God's mighty works!"
Their heads were spinning; they couldn't make head or tail of any of it. They talked back and forth, confused: "What's going on here?"

PRAYER:

Our Father God, thank you for the wonderful way we are made. Thank you that we can understand what others are saying. Thank you that your Holy Spirit helps us to communicate with others. Thanks, too, for the joys and challenges this brings to us. Amen.
